Position Summary
To contribute to site/project team effectiveness and the professional image of HYLC by providing professional reception services to internal and external stakeholders.
 
Skills, Experience and Personal Competencies
 
Essential
  • Relevant word processing and secretarial qualifications and/or training.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, liaison and networking skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities in a high volume work environment.

Desirable
  • Previous construction/mining industry experience
Significant experience in a previous receptionist role for a busy organisation is essential.

To manage office IT related activities for all staff. Support all staff with IT related networking and user issues. Manage the site office administrative requirements. Oversee administrative support staff. 
 
Skills, Experience and Personal Competencies
 
Essential
·         Degree in IT.
·         Proven ability to manage office environments.
·         Demonstrated organisational, planning and coordination skills.
·         Experience working independently and as a member of a team.
 
Desirable
  • Previous construction/mining industry experience

This position is responsible identify R&D opportunities for the HYLC JV and report on monthly basis to in respect to R&D opportunities to ensure claims are maximised and risks managed. Leadership of the Risk Management business process across the group.

Site Engineers, Construction Architects and Construction Management Coordinators
 
Position Summary
Positions for experienced and graduate engineers, architects and construction management professionals for supervision and coordination in a range of roles in.
·    Planning, programming and monitoring of pre-construction and construction works both onsite and offsite
·    4-D planning for virtual construction simulation
·    Design management of major specialist subcontract works
·    Participation in procurement activities with subcontractors, particularly in respect of establishing and monitoring processes for quality assurance, scheduling, BIM inputs and coordination
·    Management and coordination of field, completion and asset BIM using in Revit, Navisworks and bespoke interactive databases
·    Management and coordination of construction quality assurance processes including their integration with completion and asset BIM
 
Skills, Experience and Personal Competencies
Minimum:
·    Degree level in engineering, architecture or construction management professionals.
·    Microsoft Project and Powerpoint
·    Ability to clearly communicate organisational objectives and to resolve technical and coordination conflicts
·    Attention to detail
·    Ability to develop, draft and articulate work methods and process work flows within a construction environment
·    High standards and expectations for health and safety including for safety in design, construction safety and in service facility safety
Preferred:
·    Primavera v6
·    Revit 2012 and Navisworks 2012 knowledge and user experience including clash detection
·    Data based management skills
·    Web-based document and communications management
·    Working knowledge and experience with design processes including those for specialist engineering, structural and façade subcontracts
·    Experience with coordination of pre-construction offsite manufacture

Position Summary
This position is responsible for providing the contracts administration function for assigned contracts for the New Royal Adelaide Hospital project, in accordance with HYLC JV Policies and Procedures.
 
Skills, Experience and Personal Competencies
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience or
  •  A degree in construction, commerce, law or business/management or
  • Experience with multi storey commercial building construction
  • Be familiar with the requirements of the relevant awards, industry practice, site requirements and the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry.
  • A post graduate qualification in commercial or legal field
  • Ability to approach tasks in a professional manner
  • Excellent Negotiation Skills
  • Lump Sum Turn Key (LSTK) / PPP experience an advantage
  • Experience in major projects highly beneficial
Demonstrated management of contracts on large projects. To be eligible for this role, you will have a minimum 10 years in similar role accountabilities.
