Building the Education Revolution Opportunities, VIC
In Victoria, Hansen Yuncken has recently been awarded a $74m Building Contract for the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. The project, "Primary Schools for the 21st Century" is also part of the Federal Government's Building the Education Revolution (BER) programme, and in this case involves the construction of various new buildings for 25 primary schools in Melbourne's Eastern Metropolitan area, and Shepparton. The project is anticipated to be completed by mid 2010.
To deliver this package of works, HY is currently seeking experienced candidates for the following roles:

Contract Administrator, VIC
We are currently seeking experienced Contract Administrators to work on major Commercial construction sites in
You will manage and be responsible for:
§ Preparing scopes of work for subcontractors
§ Award and control of sub-contracts
§ Risk assessment, insurances, bank guarantees, subcontractor payment, retention and head progress claims
§ Management of contractual claims and variations whilst ensuring data integrity
You will be an astute, motivated individual, commercially and contractually skilled in contract administration and cost control. You will have appropriate qualifications with a proven background in Contract Administration on construction projects. Knowledge of CHEOPS or similar is required.
