A new CEO perspective

Hansen Yuncken's newly appointed CEO, Peter Salveson is steering the business towards its 100th year anniversary.

"Having been a member of the Executive Management Team at Hansen Yuncken for a period of 20 years, I feel privileged to be writing this message as the Chief Executive Officer.

Our business is approaching a significant milestone, and as I look ahead, I will focus on accelerating our growth strategy while continuing to build on the strength of our well respected brand.

For this coming financial year, we will turnover in excess of $1billion. We will also maintain a strong balance sheet, secured pipeline of projects, zero debt and available securities that will lead the business into steady growth for the next 3-5 years.

Our business is embracing opportunities across the country and in a fairly tight environment, is continuing to develop competitive and cutting edge business strategies. As we progress into the financial year, our projects will remain profitable and more importantly, integral to a cost structure for the business that is competitive and maximises return for our clients.

Technology and innovation will continue to play a fundamental part of our business growth and will allow us to build additional efficiencies in planning and delivery that will not only reduce project costs but also offer greater certainty and transparency across our projects.

Of course, central to our success, our people are our most important asset. An extensive knowledge base, a professional approach and unwavering commitment, allows us to maintain a unique corporate culture.

Staying true to our corporate values, Upfront, Progressive, Involved and Trusted; customer satisfaction is the hallmark by which we measure our performance, and we hold ourselves, as do our clients, to the highest standards of quality.

Whilst proud of our 98-year history, our business continues to embrace the future and create positive change to the communities in which we work and live.
