Adelaide’s new commercial development embeds environmentally sustainable design and construction principles, such as a passive chilled beam mechanical cooling system. This project is South Australia's first 6 Star NABERS Energy rated office building. Linking to the neighbouring Santos building, the 23,000m2 tower comprises two levels of parking, retail banking, crèche, cafe, public lobby and 12 levels of office accommodation.
Hansen Yuncken partnered with JPE Design Studio to implement sophisticated delivery methods, offsite manufacture and the integration of BIM, examples of the team’s collective and innovative approach which resulted in reduced time and cost savings and enhanced collaboration and positive communication between project stakeholders.
For completion and handover, digital induction tools have accompanied handover documentation and operation and maintenance manuals making facility maintenance management a breeze.
