Replacing tired and outdated laboratory environments and commercial office accommodation scattered across Adelaide, this new facility consolidates key SA Water functions, creating a ground floor Customer Service Centre, Education Centre, 5,600m2 of laboratories including significant PC2 rated laboratory spaces on lower levels and 12,000m2 of corporate offices featuring approximately 980 work points.
Hansen Yuncken undertook the base building works. As a major tenant, SA Water occupies the building along with the Environmental Protection Agency.
As Adelaide’s first 6 star Green Star building, the VS1 complies with exacting environmental performance criteria and includes a 6 Star Green Star interior fitout.
