Supporting the expansion of the Ravensworth North Coal Mine for Xstrata, the full Mine Infrastructure Area (MIA) and associated facilities have been upgraded and expanded. A detailed understanding of mine operations and construction expertise was required for a broad range of specialist new facility types, including tyre change facility, mine truck and light vehicle wash facilities, heavy vehicle workshops and heavy and light vehicle refuelling facilities. Upgrades were given to the administration buildings, bathhouse facilities, existing workshop and plant wide services.
