The new Royal Adelaide Hospital (nRAH) project involves the design, financing, construction, maintenance, and provision of FM services for a new state of the art hospital.   The nRAH will be constructed at the North Terrace-West Terrace intersection of Adelaide’s CBD.   HYLC Joint Venture is a member of the SA Health Partnership Consortium and responsible for the design and construction of this major infrastructure project.

HYLC invite Registrations of Interest (ROI) from suitably qualified contractors and suppliers for construction trades, material suppliers and construction site services providers.

Any suppliers with design input, or provision of any material components needs to be aware of the pre-requisite on this project to provide their information in a Autodesk Revit format. So that it can be used by the design team to deliver Building Information Modelling (BIM).

ROI's should be limited to 8 pages and should include company details, resource capacity, previous experience and if relevant examples of their Revit Library Content.

Organisations who submit an ROI may be invited to attend an industry briefing session at the relevant time in the program. Industry briefing sessions will be advertised accordingly.

Hansen Yuncken is pleased to announce that we have been awarded the contract for the Planning Phase of the Wagga Wagga Base Hospital Redevelopment.Under a two phase procurement strategy, Health Infrastructure appointed Hansen Yuncken to provide Planning Services input into the development of the planning applications, schematic and detailed design, buildability and cost planning services.

The intention for early appointment is to ensure that Hansen Yuncken is integrally involved in finalising the schematic design, design development and User Group and Stakeholder Consultation. Upon completion of the Planning Services,  Hansen Yuncken will submit a GMP Offer. If the GMP Offer is accepted, Hansen Yuncken will then proceed to the second phase of the project, the Delivery Phase.

The approved funding of $171M involves the construction of Stages 1A, 1B and 2A. Stage 1A involves the construction of new facilities to accommodate acute and non-acute mental health. Stage 1B incorporates new facilities to accommodate emergency services,
operating theatres and perioperative suites. Stage 2A, to be constructed over Stage 1B, consists of four storeys of inpatient units, including ICU, Birthing Unit / Maternity and surgical floors, together with a helipad on the roof. Stage 2A will also involve extension to the Emergency Department/ Procedures Centre entrance lobby, as
well as internal refurbishment of existing facilitiesThe Planning Phase will continue till December 2011, with construction scheduled to commence in early 2012.. 

In parallel with the Planning Phase, Hansen Yuncken is also required to undertake Early Works necessary to prepare the site in readiness for the Delivery Phase.
