The Centre is the result of a visionary partnership between Hansen Yuncken and the University of Newcastle, dedicated to bridging industry and academia to develop cutting-edge solutions for construction safety. This milestone is a vital part of Hansen Yuncken’s Enforceable Undertaking journey, transforming challenges into lasting, positive outcomes for workers and communities alike.

The event featured insightful discussions, including a Technology & WHS Panel with Hansen Yuncken’s National Digital Technologies and Development Manager, Dan Smith, who explored how digital tools are transforming safety practices. With projects like the Worker Insight Training Simulation, AI-enabled hazard applications, and high-risk work safety animations, the Centre is actively advancing the construction sector’s approach to health and safety.
