Heading North: Hansen Yuncken Opens Darwin Office

Since first stepping foot on Puckapunyal Military Area in 1938, Hansen Yuncken has spent the past 85 years adapting and innovating to deliver some of Australia's most complex, secure facilities for Defence.

In response to the Australian Government's commitment to national security and infrastructure development, Hansen Yuncken is currently delivering a series of Defence projects that will support Australia’s Defence capabilities.

To continue supporting Defence and shape the development, delivery and sustainment of military, intelligence and enabling capabilities, we are delighted to expand our national presence with the official establishment of our Darwin operations.

With extensive experience, paired with a team of talented specialists with an appreciation of the unique challenges associated with delivering Defence projects, the establishment of the Darwin office allows us to continue supporting the Australian Government and contribute to the region’s growth and development.

The Darwin office operations will be managed by South Australian Construction Manager Scott Brumfield - a highly accomplished construction industry veteran with previous experience working in the Northern Territory, with the support of South Australian State Manager Mark Rosenboom.

“The Northern Territory construction landscape presents a range of unique opportunities for Hansen Yuncken to expand our Defence capabilities – delivering the infrastructure Australia’s north requires.

With a wealth of experience and a track record of excellence, Hansen Yuncken is well equipped to meet the exciting challenges of Defence project delivery," says National Defence Manager Michael Bridger.

Further details about the Darwin office's location, contact information, and updates will be shared in the coming weeks. As we embark on this new and promising chapter, we invite our construction community to join in celebrating this exciting expansion and collaboration opportunities in the Defence sector.
