About the role

We offer a unique opportunity for students in their 2nd or 3rd year of Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture to join Hansen Yuncken full-time.

Our upcoming projects span health, industrial, education, defence, and commercial sectors, with values reaching up to $200M. As part of your studies, you will engage in a comprehensive development program, including on-the-job rotations and tailored training experiences.

You will gain a deep understanding of the construction management process through six-month rotations in the following areas:

• Contracts Administration
• Site Management
• Safety
• Estimating
• Design & Services
• Planning

Our first rotation will be in the pre-construction team helping with new tenders and learning how to price projects.

Our Building Cadets are mentored by experienced senior leaders who will guide you throughout your university journey and early career. You will benefit from a supportive network of mentors and buddies, ensuring a thorough and authentic experience of all aspects of construction.

About you

• Currently in your 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year of a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture
• Experience in construction or construction-related environments is desirable
• Able to commit to working four days per week
• Possess exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
• Have a positive attitude and eagerness to learn from the team
