Having secured this contract by leveraging an innovative concrete hardstand slab system, Hansen Yuncken successfully delivered the Australian Container Freight Services (ACFS) Logistics Terminal. The concrete hardstand slab system utilises a combination of fibre reinforced concrete and heavy reinforcing mesh, enabling the project team to utilise a reasonably thin slab in areas which are vulnerable to differential settlement.

Our solution delivered value for money, with extensive facilities including a 25,000m2 warehouse building, attached office, free standing, single level office building with a cafe, as well as 45,000m2 of concrete hardstand and driveway areas.
