Goulburn Health Services Redevelopment
The four storey Clinical Services Building at Goulburn Base Hospital provides important upgrades to the regional hospital campus. The new building provides a new main entry and hospital reception, emergency department, medical imaging department, ICU, operating theatres and additional patient wards.
Working in partnership with architects Silver Thomas Hanley, our team progressed the design through a collaborative ECI process ahead of commencing works on site.
Delivered within an operational hospital campus, minimising disruption to the day to day operations of the regional health facility was paramount to the project’s success.

For us, the construction process is as much about the community as it is about the building, so when the opportunity comes along to to call upon our neighbours, we grab it with both hands. Our ‘Name The Crane’ competition was a talking point of the project, attracting entries from across the community. Six year old Alex from Wollondilly Public School took out the top spot with ‘Cranium’.

With safety at the forefront of everything we do, the team was on the lookout for new innovations to assist throughout the delivery. Utilising a revolutionary anti-tamper locking assembly, the risk of scaffold ties and couplers being detached from fixed scaffolding is reduced. The solution significantly minimised scaffold collapse and failure, avoiding injury and disruptions. The extra measures were acknowledged by the Master Builders Association.
