Meadowbank TAFE Multi Trades and Digital Technology Hub
A bespoke state of the art facility that has been defined as “an active learning environment co-locating disciplines under building, construction, engineering and manufacturing united by a focus on new digital technologies,” the Meadowbank TAFE Multi Trades and Digital Technology Hub forms part of the wider Meadowbank Education and Employment Precinct.
This project for TAFE NSW and School Infrastructure included design and construction of a new six storey facility, featuring indoor and outdoor workshops, flexible and digitally enabled learning spaces, industry engagement spaces, staff workplaces, meeting rooms, a café, staff and student amenities, end of trip facilities and associated landscaping, as well as multi storey 200 space car park.

Active collaboration was key to designing a facility to accommodate the future of our industry
By using our in house BIM and VDC resources during the ECI phase, our team was able to use a 4D simulation of the build to assess and review sequencing options to determine the most efficient methodology for the structure well ahead of starting on site.
