Sydney Ambulance Metropolitan Infrastructure Strategy

Following an Early Contractor Involvement, our project team successfully constructed six ambulance superstations to improve the delivery of NSW Ambulance’s service across the Sydney metropolitan area. The superstations, located in Bankstown, Liverpool, Blacktown, Penrith, Northmead and Waverley, all form part of a network of superstations and paramedic response points within the greater Sydney Ambulance Metropolitan Infrastructure Strategy (SAMIS).

Consistent in design, with customisation at each to meet site specific conditions, the buildings accommodate 30 to 40 ambulance vehicles along with external staff parking and an office area for paramedics on break, administration staff and a logistics team. Modern security and communications systems integrated into the design allow continuous, remote monitoring by the NSW Ambulance ICT team.
