Warehouse 1 Target Distribution Centre
One of the first purpose built operations within Moorebank Logistics Park, the Target Distribution Centre was designed to capitalise on efficiencies of the new freight rail terminal. With over 37,000m2 of space, the facility features a separate cool room within the warehouse with full-height insulated wall cladding, an automated sortation area, high level racking for storage and seamless connection to logistics trainline via an internal road.
7,505 solar panels installed on the roof

Tenant early access achieved
Future proofed logistics precinct
With a significant investment in logistics technology and automated sortation equipment, the team worked collaboratively with Target to deliver a turnkey solution. An intricate network of services – suspended data cabinets, sophisticated security and audiovisual and communications equipment were seamlessly integrated throughout the facility.
A fully automated, energy efficient, turnkey facility with tenant early access was key to the success of this project
Efficiency was the number one priority for Target, with detailed pre-planning of the electrical services critical to achieving the final design. Taking sustainability to the next level – 7,505 LG NeonĀ® 2 solr panels were installed, making this project among the largest roof-mounted solar arrays in the world and the largest single roof installation in Australia at the time.
