Westmead Hospital Main Works Enabling Project
Technically challenging and complex, the Westmead Hospital ASB Main Works Enabling Project paved the way for the new Acute Services Building (ASB), a purpose built facility to manage severe injury or illness, urgent medical conditions, recovery from surgery and other critical and complex conditions. The Enabling Works project consisted of three major milestones, including procurement and installation of a prefabricated helipad, design finalisation and fitout of the new NETS (Newborn Emergency Transport Services) facility at Bankstown Airport and demolition of an existing multistorey carpark attached linkbridge and the current NETS facility.
