Spread over a 15,400m2 gross floor area (GFA), this project has set a new benchmark with its striking design that commands attention from every angle.
In addition to the clever use of white concrete fins to create a visual rhythm for motorists, the building also ‘wows’ pedestrians and users alike with not only its generous wi-fi enabled indoor and outdoor workspaces, but also an extensive list of premium features and facilities including: impressive end of trip facilities; flexible workspaces for both rest and play; significant landscaping comprising extensive grass lawns and seating; and an expansive sheltered BBQ area complete with static fitness and exercise equipment designed to facilitate an active and healthy lifestyle.

In particular, the project saw the delivery of:

  • Six storeys of new PCA A-Grade general office space, with two levels of basement car parking facilities
  • Ground level foyer with extensive end of trip facilities
  • Loading dock area
  • Services for the substation
  • Significant landscaping surrounding the new building
  • An additional large undercover area with fitness equipment and outdoor seating.

The original scope was increased to include the installation of automatic doors and touchless features throughout, to support a COVID-safe work environment. The HY project team successfully incorporated these initiatives into the build without impacting project duration.
