Hansen Yuncken delivered the transformation of Monash University’s Sir Louis Matheson Library, which underwent a major refurbishment while the library remained fully operational, in response to the University's aspirations and the dynamic learning environment.
Constructed in three stages over an 18-month period, the project involved works to the functionality of the public library spaces and improved circulation and way finding to complement the new and prominent entry.
The Sir Louis Matheson Library refurbishment included the addition of large conference, training and meeting rooms to enhance the modern study hubs throughout the library.
