Previously a cold shell existing within Art Centre Melbourne’s Hamer Hall, Southbank has been transformed into a beacon of innovation and learning, working alongside Arts Centre Melbourne’s design team to help realise the vision for this new world-class Digital Learning Hub. Prominently located, the new Hub consists of a performance space, two workshops, staff offices, bathrooms, a kitchenette, storage space and the relocation of existing recording booths, with high end audio equipment and cabling installed throughout. Construction of exceptionally high quality achieved the expectations for this publicly accessible space, responding to the fit for purpose design by using innovative solutions, neat finishes and precise detailing.
