This landmark project is a major step towards creating modern mental health and substance abuse services in an environment that reflects everyday community life. Unique in design, the various components of the development are positioned around a landscaped central garden in a ‘village’ configuration, with extensive landscaping forming a major element to assist in the ambience of the health and wellbeing of its residents.
Hansen Yuncken overcame several challenges including the size and configuration of the site and logistics management to construct multiple buildings simultaneously. The project also called for substantial site infrastructure development and engineering services to serve the broader Glenside Campus.
