Hansen Yuncken were awarded the Newcastle Private Hospital Redevelopment (Stage 1) in March 2016. The project involved the construction of a new extension and internal fitout and refurbishment of associated areas of the existing hospital structure, whilst the remainder of the hospital remained operational throughout the works.
The proposed works incorporated a significant extension of the existing hospital as well as the construction of a new theatre complex projected off the Eastern façade of the existing Kingston Building.
