Hansen Yuncken has been engaged by Health Infrastructure to carry out the main construction works for the Goulburn Hospital and Health Service Redevelopment. The $96 million Goulburn Hospital and Health Service Redevelopment builds on the NSW Government’s extensive investment in health facilities across the state.
The project involves the construction of a four-storey Clinical Services building with a new main entry and hospital reception; emergency department; medical imaging department; intensive care unit; operating theatres, day surgery, recovery and pre-admission areas; medical, surgical, paediatric and geriatric inpatient wards with specific designated palliative care beds and a maternity and birthing suite.
Construction is set for completion in 2021 when the building will be handed over for operational commissioning and internal fitout. Once complete the redevelopment will deliver high quality health facilities to meet the needs of the Goulburn community now and well into the future.
