A technically challenging project, Hansen Yuncken managed the design and construction of this facility incorporating two levels of office accommodation (totalling 2,400m2) and one level of warehousing (totalling 14,900m2) as well as 15,000m2 of hardstand/parking area.
With Symbion Health as its primary tenant, Hansen Yuncken installed temperature control facilities throughout the warehouse, enabling safe and appropriate storage of pharmaceutical products. A HVAC system with roof-mounted chiller units utilised 50mm insulated ductwork. The chiller units’ outage requirements were met by insulating internal walls with Kingspan, while 130mm insulation was installed in the ceiling. The warehouse dispatch area also includes three on-grade roller doors, as well as three loading docks featuring cantilevered awnings.
