With Hansen Yuncken working to an extremely tight timeframe to expand the DB Schenker and Goodman facilities, design for this fast-tracked project commenced in September 2013; it achieved completion on 30 June 2014. With the site previously damaged by floodwater in January 2011, Goodman increased the height of the land by five metres, as well as installing roads and services infrastructure. With these facilities and the building pad for the DB Schenker project completed by Goodman, the project was handed over to Hansen Yuncken. Hansen Yuncken managed this changeover swiftly and responsibly, enabling them to mobilise on site in late October 2013. From this point, Hansen Yuncken worked tirelessly to complete the works in line with an ambitious program.

Comprising the initial stage of the new Goodman Redbank Motorway Industrial Estate 40km west of Brisbane, the DB Schenker facility was the first constructed on the estate. Hansen Yuncken managed the design and construction of a 44,000m2 warehouse housing tenancies for both DB Schenker (30,000m2) and Goodman expansion (14,400m2). We also delivered recessed and flush loading docks, a control office, two main offices, battery charging areas, external concrete hardstands and services infrastructure on a total site area of 83,000m2.
