Observing the stringent safety requirements unique to an operating mine, a diverse range of infrastructure works were delivered to improve operational efficiencies. Extensions were made to the existing mine heavy vehicle workshop (of 3-bays) and bathhouse, with construction of new offices, muster and miscellaneous works. The project used steel-fibre concrete, extension and new gantry crane, upgrades to the existing workshop services, including new vertical sliding doors to create a drive-through maintenance facility.
