Hansen Yuncken delivered a significant redevelopment of the Festival Theatre precinct – completing extensive landscaping, fitout, and plaza strengthening construction works, also involving a bespoke new entry to the iconic 1960s concrete structure. The project included demolition and rebuilding of foyer areas, structural upgrades, modern waterproofing and movement joints, detailed stone paving, precast concrete balustrades and planters, floor levelling and re-carpeting of theatre lobbies, as well as soft landscaping, decking, lighting, and security improvements, enhancing both the functionality and visitor experience of the precinct.
