The Flinders Medical Centre upgrade revitalised the major healthcare precinct for Adelaide’s southern suburbs. Adjacent to the existing Flinders Private and Public Hospitals, the FMC upgrade included a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility spread across five levels and 11,000m2. Additionally, a major multi deck car park for over 1,780 vehicles alleviated parking challenges, while a specialist 30 bed Older Persons Mental Health Unit complemented similar facilities now well established across the South Australian Health Network.
