Gold Coast Disaster and Emergency Management Centre

The Gold Coast Disaster and Emergency Management Centre (DEMC), as critical infrastructure, is designed to withstand Category 5 cyclones and facilitate effective responses to disasters and events while also meeting operational needs for business as usual. Its layout is strategically planned to accommodate multiple stakeholders operating under the Australasian Interagency Incident Management System.
The project scope encompassed design, demolition of an existing warehouse, and construction of the 2,835m2 main building, along with services, external site work, and landscaping.
