New Liverpool Boys and Girls High School
Hansen Yuncken is proud to have been awarded the contract to deliver the new Liverpool Boys and Girls High School for School Infrastructure. This landmark project will bring together the existing single-sex schools into a single, co-educational campus designed to accommodate up to 2,000 students and over 230 staff.
The redevelopment will feature three multi-storey school buildings supported by landscaped learning and recreation spaces including a yarning circle, tiered seating, a full-sized football field, and five multi-sports courts, along with carparking and new infrastructure. Learning spaces will be technology-enabled and highly adaptable, providing specialised areas for STEM, creative arts, and vocational learning, supported by collaborative breakout zones and inclusive student support facilities.
The project will deliver flexible, contemporary and sustainable environments that encourage excellence, innovation and inclusivity, connect with Country and honour the Cabrogal clan of the Dharug Nation, and adapt to evolving learning needs into the future. Located within the Liverpool Health and Education Precinct, the new school will play a pivotal role in shaping the region’s future – creating opportunities for students, strengthening community connections, and supporting the city’s continued growth.
