Delivered in partnership with Cox Architecture, the stunning theatre development — seen as a magnificent new addition to Western Sydney’s cultural landscape and to Australia’s live performance industry, shares its name with a distinctive group of the world’s grand theatres.

The state of the art venue featuring striking architecture boasts a 2,000 seat ‘multi mode theatre’ that can be adapted to host full scale Broadway musicals, symphony orchestras, ballet performances, live contemporary music, comedy and family entertainment. Equipped with a full fly system, unique retractable seating, a 30 capacity orchestra pit and a swag of plush amenities, including eleven dressing rooms and seven bars, the theatre is the first venue in Greater Western Sydney capable of hosting productions previously only staged in the CBD.

The theatre also boasts an on site commercial kitchen, corporate event rooms, conference spaces and cutting edge technology promising audiences a fully immersive sound experience, complete with clever acoustic design and sustainable LED lighting. On arrival at the Sydney Coliseum Theatre, patrons take in the elegant form, guided towards the top of the concrete ‘theatre curtain’ by the elevated glass bridge. Passing through the curtain reveals a vast, light filled atrium with a large yet delicate crystal chandelier floating above.
