Located within the existing Prentice Building at The University of Queensland’s St Lucia campus, the new Student Services Hub accommodates core support services, provides collaborative learning spaces and private individual focus areas. The Student Services Hub provides a central node of activity and create a place with a sense of attraction, involvement and belonging to support and enhance the student experience. The project seamlessly consolidates UQ Student Service spaces into a 24/7, fully activated shared destination and one stop hub‚ servicing experiential and development needs on campus. Three existing buildings were transformed to provide amenity and connection via a central welcome plaza. This multi purpose walk through space also connects the Physics Annexe and Prentice Buildings enabling students to gather and connect.
