Delivering A Long-Term Investment For Hilton Foods Australia

In just under 10 months, the Heathwood Facility Project Team in Queensland have reached the first major milestone for Hilton Foods Australia (HFA), delivering stage 1 of works on program.

This incredible achievement marks the first major step for HFA and its $115m long-term warehousing investment in Brisbane’s South.

After being awarded the design and construct contract in October 2017, Hansen Yuncken’s 1st major milestone was the commencement of structural steel on the 11th January 2018 and now just over 5 months later have achieved the early access handover for HFA’s materials handling contractor Vanderlande to commence an extensive fitout of the Warehouse Storage area component of the project.

Absorbing 26 days of wet weather, the team has delivered the 11000m2 of warehouse storage area complete with refrigerated panelling and all services fitted off, 3000m2 mezzanine composite slab, 14000m2 of external concrete hardstand, 5000m2 of carparking and the completion of the Logistics office & Gatehouse.
