In the course of our everyday business, Hansen Yuncken collects and records personal information. Hansen Yuncken recognises that an individual's privacy is very important and that they have a right to control their personal information. Unless we are given explicit consent to act otherwise, the following policy will govern how Hansen Yuncken handles an individual's personal information and safeguards their privacy.

We do not, as standard practice, collect personal information through our Website other than information provided voluntarily by the User through our Publications Order or Contact pages.

Users are able to request a copy of the Company's Capability Statement, Newsletter, and/or Group Review. In doing so, the user provides information such as name, address and general contact details. This information is collected and added to our Client List for future mailout purposes.

Collection of Records

The details that we record are contact name, position, mailing address, contact number, fax and email of individuals within the client's business. This is important to ensure efficient business communications. It has also been customary to store individual's contact details on our mailing database in order to assist us to support the individual's relationship with Hansen Yuncken.

Use
These records are used to enable Hansen Yuncken to keep individuals updated with the latest services, capabilities and innovations of Hansen Yuncken nationally.

Accuracy
On a reasonably regular basis Hansen Yuncken will send out an information sheet to the Companies on our database indicating the individuals and information currently held on them, and giving them the option of ensuring the accuracy of this information or the removal of it from our database.

Security
Hansen Yuncken will not give or sell any personal information to any outside organisation, for any other purpose than to perform the everyday business of Hansen Yuncken.

Continual Improvement
Hansen Yuncken will continue to regularly review the collection and use of personal information, in an attempt to ensure our practices comply with regulations, and that no individual's privacy is being compromised.

Access and Review
Hansen Yuncken are happy to provide access to individuals wishing to review the personal information that they have provided to us in order to change their contact details or discuss a privacy concern

Exceptions to this include:

The request for access is frivolous or vexatious;
