Hansen Yuncken successfully delivered the $13 million Williams-Sonoma Logistics Warehouse for Frasers Property Industrial. The warehouse will support kitchenware giant Williams-Sonoma in servicing their Australian stores to cater for the recent acceleration in online shopping. Located in Horsley Park, the 17,965m² facility features a combination of world-class warehousing and customer-specific office space. Targeting a 5-star Green Star design and As-Built rating, the facility also includes battery charging bays, a roof top solar power system, 97 on-grade car parking spaces, heavy and light duty pavement, and a customer pick up area. This project was particularly challenging due to the wet weather, resulting in an unsafe surface for scaffolding to allow the installation of façade cladding. The team successfully navigated through this challenge using a mobile crane with a man box to proceed with the façade cladding installation, ensuring there were no delays to programme.
