With more than 40 years in the construction industry and over 25 years leading construction businesses across Australia, George Bardas brings a genuine, people-first leadership style to his role as Chief Executive Officer of Hansen Yuncken.

Passionate about the industry and the people who shape it, George believes lasting success is built on strong relationships, fairness, hard work and a commitment to doing the right thing.

He is focused on empowering Hansen Yuncken’s people, strengthening trusted client partnerships and fostering a culture where collaboration, innovation and accountability drive exceptional outcomes.

Our business has always been about people. When we genuinely care for one another, work hard and build trusted relationships, we create better outcomes for our clients, our teams and the communities we help build.

Naturally systematic, strategic and analytical, Rexine Jones is future focused and fascinated by technology. She’s determined to push the boundaries of Hansen Yuncken’s operational capabilities through innovation to work smarter, safer, and smoother.

I consider myself in service to our projects – viewing them as my clients. I’m here to make sure they have the integrated tools they need to succeed.

When Rexine thinks of partnerships, she thinks of people, operational technology, and finance working in synergy to achieve incredible things.

Mark is proud of Hansen Yuncken’s 85 year history in South Australia, partnering with governments and private enterprise to deliver some of Adelaide’s most iconic projects.

Over eight decades, we’ve completed over a thousand projects across a range of sectors, creating buildings that have added to Adelaide’s unique heritage.

Mark is proud of our passion for building, which filters throughout our people and organisation. He’s fortunate for the exceptional and dedicated team over nearly nine decades in South Australia.

With more than 30 years in the construction industry, Phil Bermingham has progressed from apprentice to General Manager, giving him a deep appreciation of every stage of project delivery.

As General Manager of Hansen Yuncken’s NSW & ACT business, he is focused on building strong client relationships, developing people and delivering exceptional project outcomes across the region.

Construction has always been about people. When you invest in your team, support your clients and work collaboratively, the projects take care of themselves.

Known for his authentic leadership style, Phil believes great businesses are built by investing in people, fostering collaboration and creating opportunities for individuals and teams to succeed.

Scott Brumfield leads Hansen Yuncken’s South Australian business, drawing on extensive experience delivering major projects across a diverse range of sectors.

He is passionate about building trusted client relationships, developing high-performing teams and delivering projects that create lasting value for communities.

The best projects are built on trust, collaboration and a commitment to delivering the right outcome – not just for today, but for the communities that will use these buildings for decades to come.

Scott is focused on maintaining Hansen Yuncken’s strong reputation in South Australia while continuing to grow the business through collaboration, innovation and delivery excellence.

Matt Cadle

Matt Cadle

Community and client focused, Matt Cadle guides the Tasmanian business unit to deliver a range of projects from iconic and heritage listed museums through to the next generation of health, justice, and educational facilities.

Some of our projects are iconic, some are uniquely Tasmanian – all contribute to the community in which we live and work.

Drawn to the challenge of complex projects, the rich history of Tasmania provides the perfect playground for Matt to deliver projects that serve the broader community.

Dan Crawley leads Hansen Yuncken’s Victorian operations, bringing a collaborative leadership style and a strong focus on client service, project delivery and developing people.

With extensive experience delivering complex commercial and social infrastructure construction projects, Dan is committed to creating an environment where teams are empowered to innovate and perform at their best.

Elizabeth Creswell

Elizabeth is Hansen Yuncken’s Head of Design & Innovation, leading the national Design & Services function to strengthen design capability, drive innovation and deliver greater value for clients.

Passionate about the role design plays in setting projects up for success, Liz is focused on building a nationally consistent approach to design management while fostering practical innovation and developing the next generation of design leaders.

Great design management brings clarity to complexity. It aligns client objectives, stakeholder expectations, project constraints and construction outcomes from the outset.

With a collaborative leadership style and a commitment to continuous improvement, she is dedicated to creating an environment where people can grow, share knowledge and deliver their best work.

Nicole Derry

Nicole Derry

Nicole Derry leads Hansen Yuncken’s national Legal function, providing strategic legal advice and governance across the business.

Working closely with operational teams from project pursuit through to completion, she helps manage risk while enabling practical, commercially focused decision-making.

The best legal outcomes come from collaboration. By working alongside our project teams and understanding the bigger picture, we can help create solutions that support our clients, our business and other stakeholders.

Nicole is passionate about partnering with the business to support successful project outcomes, fostering strong relationships and ensuring legal expertise adds value throughout every stage of project delivery.
