We are seeking an experienced Marketing, Communications and Bid Coordinator to join our team in Adelaide.


The Opportunity:

A great opportunity currently exists for an experienced Marketing, Communications and Bid Coordinator to be responsible for the management of SA’s marketing function, the delivery of communications and provide Bid support to the team in SA branch.

As part of this role you will:

  • Effectively manage the administration and implementation of state-based marketing and communication activities that actively contributes to the State business plan and marketing team objectives.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of Hansen Yuncken’s communication initiatives, particularly in relation to enhancing the company’s brand, culture, and profile.
  • Collaboratively participate with interstate peers in national marketing initiatives and proactive sharing of news via the Company’s communication channels.
  • Creative input to, and production of, a range of marketing/communication support material for the State needs, and assistance with nationally produced materials, as may be required and in line with company standards.
  • In conjunction with the National Marketing & Communications Manager and State marketing teams, contribute to increasing the Company’s brand and profile via the use of Social Media.
  • Assist in the delivery of HY’s social media strategy including content planning, content development, platform execution, social analysis and audits.
  • Collaborating with national communities, assist in the development and rollout of internal campaigns that enhance staff engagement and meet national communication objectives; such as HR, Safety, Strategy, Marketing, Innovation.
  • Manage key stakeholder engagement (management, project teams and external stakeholders).
  • Media management with external key stakeholders.
  • Support SA State initiatives in collaboration with functional business areas (HR, HSE) in the delivery of state campaigns and initiatives (Health and Wellbeing activities, Indigenous programs).
  • Provide bid and submissions support to the bid production team in the delivery of high-quality bids (end-to-end submission support, maintaining project profiles, CV’s)

The successful candidate will require the following:

  • Proven experience working in a similar role with industry experience preferred (construction, engineering or architecture)
  • Strong attention to detail with advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound understanding of marketing and communications principles
  • Experience in bid / tender coordination preferred
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage strict deadlines
  • Advanced InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite capabilities preferred
