Embarking on a new chapter due to the strong growth in Hansen Yuncken's Victorian operations, the team worked at break neck speed with Architectus and NDY to transform Level 10 of the former Police Headquarters into our new Melbourne Head Office.
Driving a culture of teamwork, efficiency and improved productivity, the team sought to create an inviting, open plan environment with strong industrial undertones. The existing concrete slabs were polished back and incorporated as a design feature, exposed cold joints and exposed services were used throughout. To honour our 100 year plus history and incorporate a strong nod to our founding fathers and sons of the business, each meeting room has been named after iconic members of the past, including the original partners Lauritz Hansen and Otto Yuncken and the second generation of Hansen’s who carried on the business Hartley, Clarence and Frank.
Comprising a range of new flexible breakout and collaborative spaces, state of the art technology and AV capability, the strong industrial aesthetics of the office fitout combined with the historical elements of the past and present amalgamate perfectly to represent proudly our bold new brand.
