Opal Aged Care’s new residential facility in Bankstown will provide a friendly and inviting atmosphere for the local aged community.
The 155-bed facility, which commenced construction in January 2017, features one basement level providing parking for staff, a large commercial kitchen for preparation of daily meals for residents and a high capacity in-house laundry facility. Four above-ground storeys will provide accommodation to residents and a dedicated memory support unit will be established on the ground floor.
The building will feature landscaped outdoor areas allowing residents to enjoy the garden and planted spaces, and shared balconies on the upper floors will provide communal spaces for residents to enjoy the view to surrounding suburbs.
